Greg Barton

Lecture Title: Nucleic acid recognition by Toll-like receptors

Greg Barton is a Professor of Immunology & Molecular Medicine in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. His research focuses on microbial detection by the innate immune system, innate immune control of adaptive immunity, and how breakdowns of these systems lead to autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.
