Lecture Title: Metabolite Signaling in Macrophages as a Regulator of Thermogenesis

Evanna Mills, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Immunology at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber. She received her undergraduate degree and Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and was an EMBO postdoctoral fellow at Dana-Farber/Harvard Medical School.

The Mills lab explores the role of metabolite signaling in the regulation of macrophage function during homeostasis and disease.

Through these efforts she aims to identify new approaches to reprogram dysfunctional macrophages and protect against the pathology of metabolic disease and cancer.
